Stay With us at Lion's Den | Burnt Rancheria Campground

We’ve got some exciting news to share today. Burnt Rancherica campground will be opening up early this year! We’re scheduled to be opening on the 5th of March and we can’t wait to host you. You can book Lions Den as soon as the weekend of March 5th and we’re working as fast as we can to get Deer Peak and Eagles Nest outfitted. Those should be available starting the weekend of March 12th. We’ll keep you posted.

Burnt Rancherica usually doesn’t open until the beginning of April, but RRM and USFS decided to go ahead and open early this year. We’re delighted that they took this decision, in consideration of so many closures we faced last year.

Lions Den is one of our most favored sites, due to its privacy and proximity to the PCT. This secluded group site features a combination of tree tents, as well as 2 bell tents. One bell tent includes a queen bed and sofa bed. The other bell tent is a plush lounge with 2 sofa beds that can sleep 2 adults or up to 4 kids.

Lion’s den is also outfitted with our 2 story tree tent, as well as a double tree tent for couples. There are also a variety of multi-level Tentsile hammocks for an elevated lounge experience. V
