Yesterday was a big day for us. We were delighted to host Nichelle Medina and the CBS News crew for a national new story about our company, set to air in the coming weeks. Our small glamping business in San Diego's backcountry is gaining national attention, as more & more people start catching on to these new and growing hospitality trends.
We had the opportunity to tell our story and share our message of sustainable business and tourism development, which is another awesome trend that we're excited to be a part of.
It's been just over two years since our company founders set these plans into motion and created the signature hospitality experience we have today. We're fortunate to have seen these trends coming early on and found the right partner with the US Forest Service.
Both state and county parks are now seriously looking at our pilot project and interested in the potential growth of outdoor hospitality experiences.
We've come a very long way since our humble beginnings with nothing but a dream to live a life full of meaning and adventure.
It's been a bumpy road with a lot of unexpected twists and turns along the journey. Bringing about change is never an easy process. Being the lone voice by which change can eventually manifest is an even harder undertaking.
But we've persisted because of our love and vision for our San Diego Backcountry - what this destination represents and what it could potentially become.
We think often on every single one of our backers and how you helped us make this all possible.
So much more in the works that we'll be sharing with you soon and look forward to having you be a part of.
We've been steadily fulfilling Kickstarter pledges over the past weeks. Please make sure to contact us right away for available dates to redeem your pledges. We're booking out fast and it will only get busier by the time this CBS show airs.
We look forward to hosting you soon.
Best regards,
Shantel and Rami Abdel
