Camping season is here and our backcountry is coming to life with the beautiful colors of spring.

It's always such an exciting time for us in the campground getting ready to host our glamping tribe.

2020 was a very difficult year for small businesses across the country. It was a challenging year for entrepreneurship in general, with so many new changes and regulations, economic uncertainty, as well as the sudden shift in consumer habits brought about by COVID-19.

We’ve got some exciting news to share today. Burnt Rancherica campground will be opening up early this year! We’re scheduled to be opening on the 5th of March and we can’t wait to host you. You can book Lions Den as soon as the weekend of March 5th and we’re working as fast as we can to get Deer Peak and Eagles Nest outfitted. Those should be available starting the weekend of March 12th. We’ll keep you posted.

Over the past 4 years, a lot of things came together at very precise moments for us to be here today. This was all just a dream once upon a time. We wanted to live very intentional and purposeful lives. There came a moment where we finally decided to pursue that ideal, come what may.

This is how our lifestyle business ultimately came to be. One of our greatest passions has always been nature and culture travel. We always saw travel as a vehicle for breaking down cultural barriers, bringing people together and re-connecting with natural environments. We were also very inspired by the culture of eco-tourism, minimalism and responsible business models, which we encountered throughout our travels abroad.

One of the best ways to have a little adventure out in nature is to go hiking. Whether you’re alone or with a group, going on a hike is a great way to get some fresh air and get the blood pumping.

However, it’s not that easy to go from being deskbound all the time to going uphill on a steep trek. So, if you’re a complete beginner to hiking, or an old hand who has fallen out of practice, you can use the following to get back into shape and get hike-ready.

Well we've been back in action to another fully booked weekend after a month closure due to the recent fires. It never gets easier. 30+ cancellations during peak season, issuing refunds or rescheduling and not so happy glampers.
