The 2019 Mount Laguna Trail Fest was an amazing three days of biking, nature therapy and family bonding. This annual gathering is San Diego’s premier trail and mountain biking event. We’ve been sponsors of this event since it first started last year and we’re HUGE supporters of the San Diego Mountain Biking Association (SDMBA)

Our glampers had such fun and beautiful experiences on the mountain this weekend fishing at Lake Cuyamaca. The children were so excited to finally catch a lightning trout towards the end of the day.

It started out as nothing more than a dream. We made a commitment to live life on our own terms and in pursuit of our passion for responsible travel, hospitality and environmental stewardship.

We were compelled towards a lifestyle where we could express ourselves freely, while applying our creative skills towards causes that truly mattered to us.

We're so proud to be a sponsor of the most epic event on the mountain! The Mount Laguna Trail Fest was a smashing success last year and they’ve got a lot more in store for 2019.

ABC 10 News ran the story about the Julian Town Square multiple times today. Rami Abdel and Kim Simas were interviewed for the story. This is great news for our efforts towards transforming the empty lot on Main Street and Washington Street into a town square. We appreciate all your continued support and donations. We're getting very close towards making this project a reality.

Original CBS News Story

MIAMI (CBS Miami) — This summer, many families hit the great outdoors to camp. But if you don’t want to rough it, consider glamping or glamorous camping. It’s a popular trend that’s reaching new heights.

There are many types of outfitted and guided services provided on National Forest lands. The traditional types primarily involve hunting and fishing in a backcountry setting, but today the industry is highly diverse and includes whitewater floating and jet-boating, backpacking, mountaineering, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and even dog sledding.

We put a lot of thought into every detail of our glamping operation. We brought together a lot of ideas from our many travels, as well as firsthand experiences while roughing it in the outdoors. We never much enjoyed your typical tourist trap destination. The places we liked to explore were always the most remote areas and off the beaten path. This meant that we had to be very strategic with packing and keeping things streamlined with all the proper gear. It’s important to be extra prepared if you’re camping in the middle of nowhere hours away from civilization.

We’re delighted to announce that July was our highest month on record. We had the pleasure of hosting over 100 visitors at our sites in Mount Laguna.
